In case you can’t tell who some of them are, they are: Doris Day; Clint Eastwood; Sophia Loren; James Stewart; Deborah Kerr; Shirley MacLaine; John Gielgud; Jack Lemmon; Kirk Douglas; Anthony Hopkins and Elizabeth Taylor. Filed away somewhere I’ve got a number of others – film folk like Leslie Caron, Emma Thompson, Bob Hope, Charlton Heston and Pedro Almodovar; and assorted other famous types including Don Bradman, Germaine Greer, and Barry Humphries.
