I just built my 1st workstation pc. This GPU worked right out of the box. Even for Dual Monitor setup(I had read on the nVidia forums people were having issues with dual monitors). I haven’t really be able to push and test it’s capabilities. So far, handles large complex Sketchup files with shadows on, much better then my old pc. Not sure if it’s because of the my new RAM or core i7. I haven’t tried to render with it yet.

Surprisingly, Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit only gives it a (6.7 out of 7.9) Windows Experience Index rating. This is fine, but for the price (it was the most expensive part in my build) I would expect it to be higher. But maybe not. I’ll be honest, I don’t know if the WEI really means anything, so I would defer to others who would know more.

My unit came with manual and CD. But all of this can be found on the web. Go to nVidia’s website for downloads and support.

Die Karte ist ein super Teil. die lautheit und wärme hält sich me. in grenzen. über die leistung brauch ich nicht mehr viel zu erzählen, die stimmt auf jeden Fall.

Card is good – drivers and software are problematic – D. Miller – NY, NY USA
I’ve had this issue with video cards in the past, but they still seem to occur. The card is fine – but the drivers caused my Windows 7 PC to crash and not boot to Windows. I uninstalled all of the drivers and i’m using the card as is, with its native settings. This is ok, but i cannot crank up the resolution. Disappointed that video card manufacturers still ship such problematic software with their hardware.
