Question by LISA C: Is this really inappropiate and going over boundaries?
Say a 22 year old girl lives with her Mom in a co-op, she commutes to college, theres a 50 yr old man who lives in the building as well with his wife and family.. Hes a retired nurse,, everytime he sees the 22 yr old, he strikes up conversations and she feels she has to talk to him, she mentions how shes been modeling as well, since she studies fashion design she got some connections,, he says “ican take your pictures of you”,, “i photograph models”,, he shows her his amateur work of some hispanic women he took who do not look like great models,,, he knocks on her door when her mother is home to show her his work, he tells her “kock on my door sometime and we’ll talk about the pics” She ignores him, he continues..

Isnt this wrong and inappropiate?
The 22 year old girl thought it might be a good idea at first until she thought how his wife might get jealous, he may make a move, he may brag to guys in the neighborhood or show them her pics, etc
He also told her mother, “tell your daughter to come up and see me, kock on my door”

Well…perhaps he means well…but if it makes you uncomfortable, you have every right to just say “no thank you – I have a photographer I’m very happy with”.

It also wouldn’t hurt to mention something to your mother.
