How long should I run everyday to slim down my legs?

Question by Sam: How long should I run everyday to slim down my legs?
My legs are not fat but they are muscular. I just dont like the look I want them to be leaner so how long should I run to slim them down in 2 months? I’m in very good shape, I can run many miles. The only problem is i get bored easily so can you give me some tips so im not bored while running?

I don’t think running is going to slim them down, I expect they’d look more muscular. I think you’ll have to lose weight generally over your whole body to lose weight off you legs, and do that by dieting and a small amount of exercise. I used to dance only once a week, and since i’ve stopped I’ve put on weight everywhere, so i’m sure you could just do maybe a couple of hours running a week. You burn more calories in the first half hour of exercising supposedly, so you could break up your run into 20 minutes or whatever you have time to do, i expect once a day would be more than enough since by the sounds of it you’re not trying to lose a crazy amount of weight. I definitely think eating healthily is your best bet though. Hope this helps.
